Boy, Microsoft pulled a fast one!

Looking for ways to combat Apple's anti-Vista ads, Bill Veghte, chief of Microsoft's Windows unit, came up with the Mojave campaign.

He showed Microsoft's newest operating system, code named "Mojave", to several "Vista haters" and filmed their reactions. Turns out, more than 90% of them loved the new operating system.

So what is Mojave? Why, it's.................................... Vista. Of course.

You can say one thing about Apple's campaign, it's been effective. Everyone I run into has a negative opinion of Vista, and most of them have never seen it.

Maybe you should try this at your office.

The next time someone walks in to your office and says "Eeeeewwwww! Are you using Vista?", you say, "No, this is Mojave, Microsoft's latest. Care to try it out?"

Then after they spend a few minutes clicking around on your machine and they fall in love with it, you can holler "HAHA! I got you, you Apple fanboi puke! It's Vista! IT'S VISTA!!! VISTAAAAAAAAAAA! HAHAHAHAHA!!"
