Amarok is coming to Windows.

In the podcast last week, I mentioned I've been spending a lot more time in Linux. My TV tuner doesn't work in Linux, so when I'm logged in I usually listen to some music instead. My music player of choice for the KDE desktop is Amarok.

Amarok is very, very nice. You can listen to just about anything under the sun with it, including podcasts, shoutcast streams, album art, lyrics, and all kinds of plugin goodness.

Now Amarok 2 is on it's way, and in the newest version, it's going cross platform. That's right, there will be versions for PC and Mac as well as Linux.

It's still in beta, though, and the beta is only available for Linux. But keep your eye out for the Windows and Mac versions soon.
