Free Team Fortress 2 Weekend - Updates for the Heavy

To celebrate the new Heavy Updates, you can play Team Fortress 2 for free this weekend. Starting on August 22nd (Friday) through Sunday August 24th.

Now, I had heard that the next updates to Team Fortress 2 were for the heavy, but holy cow, I had no idea how much stuff they were introducing.

The update includes 3 unlockable weapons for the Heavy, well one of them is the "sandvich" that you see the heavy eating above, as well as 2 new maps, for regular play, and a new play style called "Arena Mode".

The Arena mode has 2 new maps, as well as 3 older maps which have been modified for Arena.

Sadly, I realized that I haven't played any TF2 in weeks. Now, I've been a little busy, but I may have to try to fire it up this weekend to check out the new levels and arena mode.

It's too bad that none of the new maps are CTF. Still, it seems like it'll be a good weekend to be a medic or sniper. :-)
