The Great Sand Dunes in Colorado

You wouldn’t expect there to be these big sand dunes in Colorado, at least I wouldn’t. This shot was taken at the end of a 4 wheeling trip over Medano pass. The trail enters the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

I forgot to post this on Tuesday, and today I realized that I’m tired of the wallpaper on my system. Click on the picture to get the full sized version.

You can see my Green Cherokee, and my friend Scott’s wrangler up ahead. It had just rained, so the sand was really pretty easy to get through. Some of the river crossings looked a little dicey though.
