Help to Spread FireFox - FireFox Download Day

Have you been waiting for FireFox 3? Well, wait no longer.
In addition to helping yourself to a shiny new version of FireFox, you can also help the folks over at FireFox to set a world record. They would like to set a world record for most software downloads in 24 hours.
You can find the download here. Well maybe. The server seems to be slammed right now, but you can keep trying.
I'm not sure if there is already a world record for the most software downloaded, but I'll be curious to see the final numbers on this one.
One word of warning: I bet that there are plug-ins and add-ons out there that don't work with the new version. If you don't want to run into problems, you may want to give it a little bit before you install it.

The PortableApps version is
The PortableApps version is out already as well.
The extensions aren't all that much of an issue. During install of Firefox 3, it checks your extensions and makes sure they are all compatable.

I just now have been able to get to the website, so I'll download it in a little while. Of course, I need to produce the podcast, so I don't know if I'll get to play with it tonight or not.
