How to Map a Network Drive in Windows XP

Right Click on “My Computer”. Then choose “Map Network Drive”.

The “Map Network Drive Dialog” will appear.

In the Drive drop down list, choose a free drive letter. Then in the folder list, enter two backslashes, the name of the server, then one backslash, and the name of the share.

When you click on Finish, you may be prompted for your username and password. Enter a username that has access to that resource.
