Play Team Fortress 2 for Free This Weekend!

If you've listened to the podcast, you probably remember hearing me talk about how I've been playing a little too much Team Fortress 2 lately. Well, if you don't own Team Fortress 2, then here's your chance to play it, for free.

This Weekend, starting Friday (6/20/2008) at 11AM PDT and ending Sunday (6/22/2008) Night,you can play the full version of Team Fortress 2, without paying a penny.

If you would like to take part, you can "PreLoad" Team Fortress 2, so you don't have to download it during the free window. If you don't have Steam already, then you can download it from Steam Powered, and sign up for an account. Which of course is no charge.

TF2 is really a great game, and I highly suggest it.

The reason for the free weekend, just like the last time they did a free weekend, is that they are releasing some major revisions to the Pyro. Along with a whole list of achievements, which lead to new weapons, they have also made some changes to the Pyro class that will drastically change the way the class is used.
