Congratulations to CS Tech Cast!

image

It's no secret that Art and I are big fans of CS Techcast, heck, we've played their promo twice, and we've even been guests on their show. Well, it would appear that we're not alone. It seems that CIO Insight is a big fan too.

Burbank businessman hits eject button on VHS format.

If you’re still an owner of a VCR (Remember those?), you may soon find it difficult to find anything new to play on it.

The last movie to be released on VHS was “A History of Violence” back in 2006, but you’ve been able to find older movies on the ancient format in places like dollar stores and your local grocery for a few dollars.

That’s right. We mentioned on a recent Two Guys Tech podcast that the last release of FF2 was coming, and it happened when 2.0.0.20 was released earlier today.

So, let’s all give a toast to the computer mouse!

Hear hear!

Left 4 Dead is Live, but the Demo is Dead

Star Trek and more on YouTube.

Looks like you can now watch full length, ad-supported episodes of Star Trek on YouTube. There are only fifteen episodes for now, which is kind of a bummer, but fifteen episodes is more than enough to get your fill of Captain James T. Kirk's overly-dramatic womanizing ways.

Sysadmin appreciation day.

image The system admin is often the most overlooked person in a company, until there's email trouble, of course. When things go wrong everybody starts screaming for help. But when things are running smoothly, the system admin is largely ignored. Nobody notices when everything is as it should be.

image

It seems like every time I turn around, Google is launching something new. I already have problems finding their services.

Well, make way for another one. Today, Google announced the launch of Knol.

Make some cash with CrossLoop.

image I could swear one of us blogged about CrossLoop in the past, but a quick search of the site didn't find the post. Care to help me out, Mike?
